"The best realtor you will find in Miami!

When we went to sell our house in West Kendall recently, I was, frankly, somewhat apprehensive. I’d lived in the house 23 years and I loved it, but it had been painted and outfitted to conform to my particular tastes, which admittedly, were a bit artsy, and perhaps even eccentric. So it was some trepidation that I considered the fact that selling it might be a bit of a challenge.

Once I began looking for a realtor, my apprehensive increased considerably. Everyone we interviewed talked a good game, but I had no way of knowing whether they could actually deliver. I poured over the flyers and brochures, but still, there was little that I could count on in terms of knowing who might be able to get the job done for the price I needed. That is, until we met Anthony Askowitzof RE/MAX. He was very helpful,  even though I constantly threw them my questions and concerns, he was always gracious, helpful and reassuring. He never insisted that I make costly upgrades or improvements that would have cut into my profit margin and assured me that we could sell the house “as is.”

Despite our initial trepidation, Anthony and his team worked with us every step of the way, responding to our frequent calls and texts and going above and beyond as necessary. Two other members of their team were also very helpful - Benjamin and Maribel - Ben showed the house frequently and proved to be a great salesman and advocate in his own right while Maribel helped immeasurably during the closing process and set me at ease throughout.

Speaking of closing, Anthony and the RE/MAX team sold our house in six weeks. What a relief! Even though we had to lower the price, they managed to nudge the buyer’s offer up considerably so that we would make the money we needed. That in itself was a blessing.

I can’t thank these folks enough. Selling a house - especially one you are very attached to - can be very stressful and traumatic. But when you have folks like these backing you up and acting as your team, you are in great hands. I can’t recommend Anthony and his team at RE/MAX enough!"
